From The Times, by Anna Maxted
When a girl from an upper-crust family who attends an elite school writes a novel at 15, one fears the worst. Charlotte Bowyer, now 17, wearing jeans and a T-shirt and sitting bolt upright on a sofa in the Sussex family home, is that girl, but, dare I say, she’s instantly adorable. She’s simmering with nerves, has a fresh-faced likeness to her idol Hermione Granger and, as noted in her blog, which references Snapchat and Sophocles, is “not fundamentally an optimist”.
