  • We Will Count Stars: Following Abraham

Although we may be in our later years, did we live out our best ones? Our former years may have been the best season of our lives or a timespan of broken dreams. Regardless, our past does not influence what is yet to come. God’s unforeseen promises are accessible to all who follow Him as did Abraham. When God called Abraham out of an ordinary life to fulfill an extraordinary role as Father of Many Nations, he was seventy-five years of age. We Will Count Stars: Following Abraham, underscores eight individuals who share their heartfelt stories on how God took their rendered pasts and used them for something unforeseen. We Will Count Stars: Following Abraham will infuse a renewed hope for those who follow like Abraham.

Born in Brooklyn, raised on Long Island, and dwelt in a tiny apartment in Manhattan for 34 years, Linda is the quintessential native New Yorker. Yet, through the years, she has lived in far-off remote places such as Madagascar, Hawaii, and Switzerland. After globetrotting the planet, she moved back into Manhattan to pursue a career as an actress in the performing arts. In time, Linda swapped out the stage for an office out of Wall Street where she worked in marketing and communications. In time, her personal life took an unexpected turn when she got married and moved to Pittsburgh where she continues to write business documents for professional clients and is back in the performing arts. Since relocating to Pittsburgh, Linda has performed with the Pittsburgh Irish Classical Theatre (PICT), has served on the board for the SAG-AFTRA’s Ohio-Pittsburgh Local, is a member of SAG-AFTRA’s National Communications Committee and is an alternate contributing editor for the SAG-AFTRA Industry magazine. While in New York, she appeared in Off-Broadway as well as multiple Off-Off-Broadway productions and regional theater. Yet, closest to her heart was the production of Gridlock, a five-act comedy review she wrote, produced, and performed at the West Bank Café. She has been featured in numerous commercials, film, and television series. Most noted credits are Saturday Night Live, All My Children, Law and Order, and New Jack City. During 2020 when the world came to a standstill, Linda came up with an idea, Pressing Beyond, a podcast to give hope. The podcast highlights personal stories of how people have pressed beyond unyielding obstacles to reach their calling and live out their true purpose. It has been uploaded in unprecedented numbers and continues to expand. Linda holds a BA in Theatre from Hunter College and an MA in Corporate Communications from Fordham University. She is working on her next book and when not at her desk, she is either training for her next marathon or snow skiing in some far-off destination. She and her husband live in Western Pennsylvania. www.lindasantavicca.com
