Inspiration
I’ve started a series of videos to hopefully inspire writers. Ha, and this one is about INSPIRATION. Artists and people usually associate inspiration with an outside creative force that makes us extraordinary or better than what we are on our own. Writers may call his outside force their muse, and give it human dimensions, and actually have a relationship with him or her. Stand clear!
Inspire means to breath in, whereas expire means to breath out. The last breath we take means we have expired. So to be inspired means we have been breathed into by an outside force. Some artists see this force as God, others as a spirit, or still others as just the world around us, full of inspirational moments ready to unwind in our minds and then into the words we write.
I hope you are inspired by this to be inspired, to ask for inspiration, to seek it out and believe that it exists all around you. In the bush, not just the burning bush. In the ordinary things of life, not just the extraordinary. Good luck and remember to breath in!
