The Price to Publish

The question of price is important. Most people, including writers, think that traditional publishers pay for everything. And they MAY, if you can get them to accept your work. If you do get lucky and accepted, they’ll cover the publishing costs but pay you only about 5% on the net profit of each book.

Indy Publishers like Koehler Books charge you up front, but then pay you 30% on the net. We won’t reject your work either, but will require that it is submitted to the same kind of rigorous standards as all publishers do. You deserve it!
