A Legacy Book is one of three models of publishing that we offer.

It is intended for non-professiona or first-time l writers who want to have their story published, and understand that it may not become commercially successful, based on the quality of the writing. However, we treat it as if it WILL become successful, and already is. Plus we know that a primary reason for publishing your first book is to brand you as a legitimate author and to open doors that had been closed.

We make that happen.

We treat the writer like a professional, and demand the very best from them. We call them up to the big leagues. We help them craft the story if needed. We put their manuscript through rigorous editing. We design an outstanding cover and text layout, working closely with the author.

We also build a book webpage or site. This is an excellent way to showcase the book and the author, and you won’t find many publishers who will offer this. Some examples are:

Three Stars and a Crow
The Case of the Russian Maids
My Life With Trains
The Chess Master’s Violin
Old Age and Three Virtual Remissions

Then we publish and distribute the book via Ingram Books, one of the largest book distributors in the world. Ingram puts the book on its huge distribution channels and catalogs. They distribute the book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble for print, and we publish it on Kindle, Nook and iBooks for ebooks. Authors can also buy books at wholesale.

A Legacy Book costs on average $4,000 – $5,000, depending on the manuscript, length and quality. A typical cost breakdown looks like this:

$1500 – Editing/Proofreading
$1200 – Cover design
$900 – text layout
$350 – website (huge discount)
$350 – Book printing setup, proofs
$400 – 50 books
$250 – epub design and production
$4950 – TOTAL

You are essentially paying for high-caliber award-winning editing, design and publishing services. We treat you exactly like we treat our Traditional authors: respectfully, with high standards of excellence. We make you look great, and take you from being just another writer to being a published author, with a book you can be proud of.

In some cases, our Legacy clients have come back with a second book and we have given them a Traditional book deal, if the quality warrants. So again, your first book is to get you over the hurdle, reduce the fear of publishing, and unleash all your hidden potential for your future books.

Finally, we pay author’s royalties of 50%, much higher than the typical 10% of traditional publishers. So you can wait for more rejection letters in the hopes of getting ripped off for 10%, or you can pay us to get you published and get 50%. We are here to serve you and invite you to call us with any questions.
