What a publisher does – part 1: editing
Fiona Veitch Smith of the blog, The Crafty Writer, asked John Köehler to share his thoughts about cooperative publishing during creative development of the work.Essentially the point is that writers want to be treated in a professional and cooperative manner, and often are not. The series in the Crafty Writer will be in 3-parts. Part 1 deals with editing. Part 2 will deal with design and Part 3 with Marketing & Distribution.
